Centenary's architecture is classified as Greek Revival. The congregation dates from 1906 when it began as the Tigert Memorial Methodist Church.
The present building was built in 1921 and expanded in 1957. Today it is a cornerstone of Tulsa's oldest historical district, the Brady Heights Historical District.
